This project-based course teaches participants how to deal with data science and machine learning applications “in the wild”. Projects are executed in an open-source way, in collaboration with domain experts from academia, industry, and startups.

I co-founded this hands-on course on large-scale AI with Imanol Schlag, focusing on the engineering principles and practices required to develop and optimize large-scale AI systems. It provides unique hands-on experience on the (Spring 2025) world’s most powerful public AI supercomputer (Alps).

This course gives students an overview of selected topics in advanced machine learning that are currently subjects of active research. The course concludes with a final project.

This course provides theoretical and practical insights into technology entrepreneurship. It focuses on the process of building new ventures from the validating the idea to successfully scaling its business operations.

Venture Capital is important to fund big transformational ideas and is often misunderstood by tech or research entrepreneurs. In small teams, participants work on a case of a real startup and defend the case in a simulated investment committee (IC) consisting of experienced VCs.
